How We Bring Your Vision to Life
Design & Drafting
Every project begins with understanding you, your home, and what you're hoping to accomplish.
Whether you’re planning a kitchen, bathroom, mudroom, laundry room, office, or another space, we’ll help determine how Northland can best support your project and bring your vision to life.
Once the down payment is made, our drafting team develops the detailed drawings and specifications needed to accurately manufacture your cabinetry. We work through questions, details, and revisions with you to ensure everyone is on the same page before production begins.
Approve & Build
Before anything is built, you’ll have the opportunity to review your design, confirm the details, and make any final decisions.
Once you approve the drawings, we’ll move your project into production, coordinate it with our manufacturing schedule, and confirm the anticipated timing for completion and delivery.

Delivery & Service
We coordinate delivery and installation around your project schedule, helping make sure your cabinets arrive when they’re needed and your project keeps moving forward.
Our experienced in-house installation and service teams stay involved from delivery through installation and beyond. If an issue comes up, we work quickly to resolve it and keep your project on track.

The cost depends on the size of your project, materials, construction, finish, hardware, and design details. We’ll work with you to understand your budget and identify options that provide the best fit for your project.
How much do custom cabinets cost?
You can provide your own measurements if you want a free quote or Northland can provide an on-site measure as part of our guided design services to measure your site and give you accurate pricing and dimensions.
Who measures my space?
No. You don't need to have everything figured out but you do need to know your budget. We can help you work through layout, storage, finishes, construction options, and special features. We have an expansive showroom that can help both inspire and make decisions based on your space and budget.

When do you start building my cabinets?
Once the design is finalized, the 50% down payment has been made, and production drawings have been reviewed and approved by you, your project can move into the production scheduling process. Depending on material availability and complexity of the project we typically process standard jobs in 4-6 weeks after down payment and approval.

We highly recommend working with a qualified general contractor or licensed remodeler who can coordinate the trades, manage the schedule, and help identify potential problems before they become costly surprises. That allows you to focus on the finished result instead of managing all the moving pieces yourself.
